2021 Annual Luck Analysis by the 12 Earth Branches (Chinese Animal Zodiac)

The next solar year i.e. Xin Chou (辛丑) year is not too far ahead as we are now approaching the Ninth Lunar Month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar.  This means we are at almost at the end of Autumn and “Winter is Coming” (a rather chilly phrase these days in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic) (or we are already in the midst of “winter” figuratively).  A quick check on the calendar shows the start of the lunar new year a,k.a. “chu yi’ 初一is also is a bit later than the Solar new year a.k.a. “lap chun” (立春 – Li Chun) on 12 Feb and 3 Feb 2020 respectively. So, let’s go to the core and deep dive in this annual luck thingy.

In Chinese Astrology circles, the commonly used method to predict and forecast annual luck and fortune is using the Annual Shen Sha for each of the 12 Earth Branches (“EB”) according to year of birth in their annual or yearly luck forecasts for individuals.  The 12 Earth Branches are also known as the 12 Chinese Animal Zodiac signs.  We should bear in mind that there are millions of people that have the same Chinese Animal Zodiac sign as us. Putting aside differing birth, parentage and background environments, how does one get to a more customized to a specific person’s forecast?
